Kari Gunderson joyfully teaches violin in northeast Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Suzuki families, virtuoso students on violin and viola, and adults. She’s a certified teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and also performs on violin and viola.
Dubbed Violin Queen by her high school subjects, she's proud of her many former students who bring news of their awards and positions along with humor and stories of their lives. Kari loves guiding committed families into learning with self-discipline, creativity, and joy.

Kind words from our crew:
I couldn't have hoped for a better teacher and studio with whom to begin this wonderful journey of violin/music-making. She is a gem and Wisconsin is so, so lucky to have gotten her! -- Lisa M.
Andrew loves violin time with you. He always lists it part of three good things that happened today (our bedtime routine). -- Sue H.
Kindhearted
Amazing
Respectful
Interesting -- Sophie H.
Time with her is a grand musical occasion with grand jollification! -- Mr. B.
Kari is a wonderful colleague, exceptionally trained teacher and her students, who are always prepared to a high level of technique and musicianship, are fun-loving and appreciative. -- Carol W.
